M Abdul Salam contacted a woman named Anjali on a platform six months ago. She claimed to run Srinath Marbles & Granites in Kishangarh, near Ajmer. Salam was sourcing premium marble for a house in Kerala. He never visited the firm but dealt through photos and calls. Anjali later introduced a man called Manohar as the owner, who negotiated a price and sent images showing 5,000 square feet of marble loaded for delivery. Salam transferred Rs 4,59,676 to three bank accounts. After that, the accused went silent.
