# Bengaluru man kills 2 daughters in hotel, attempts suicide

SG Imran, a 40-year-old manager at a private cab company, allegedly strangled his two daughters, Shaik Zehara (5) and Shaik Zoya (10), inside a five-star hotel room near Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport on Monday, August 10, 2026. He then attempted suicide by slitting his own throat with a knife. Hotel staff found the girls dead on a bed and Imran injured around 5:30 pm on Monday after he failed to check out. Police recovered a death note in which Imran blamed his wife's alleged extra-marital affair for his actions. DCP Mithun Kumar GK stated that Imran has admitted to killing the girls and a murder case has been registered. Imran told investigators he 'didn't want my kids to grow up with this kind of mother.' He remains hospitalised and is reported out of danger.
