Tenders have been invited for viaduct works on corridor-2 and packages covering 22 km on corridor-4, while land acquisition for the Akkupete depot is under way. K-RIDE has confirmed it will use the European Train Control System Level-2 across all corridors, replacing the earlier planned communications-based train control. The same system will be used for India's Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail.
