Berger Paints India’s consolidated net profit rose 29% year-on-year to Rs 405 crore in the June quarter, while revenue increased 12% to Rs 3,583.8 crore. Decorative paints delivered their strongest growth in 12 quarters, with standalone volumes rising in the high single digits. Automotive demand also remained firm. Berger said price increases, festive demand and distribution expansion should support growth in the coming quarters. Competition remains intense as Birla Opus expands. Mint reported Berger’s decorative volumes rose 8.4%, just below Asian Paints’ 9%, while Berger added 2,100 tinting machines and plans 10,000 in FY27. The Economic Times reported operating margins were 17.4%, while Mint put them at 16.9%. Both accounts said input costs and delayed price increases affected profitability.
