RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Thursday that true leadership is not about speeches, winning elections or preaching to people. Speaking to Gen Z and Alpha students at an event in Mumbai, he said leaders should work from within, share success, fame and material gains, and recognise others’ qualities. Bhagwat said a leader must act like a warrior during conflict and guide people towards “light”. He said he sees himself as a worker rather than a leader. The purpose of leadership, he added, should be to create more leaders, not to lead alone.
