N R I Triple Power, ridden by Shivam and trained by D. Netto, won the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area Trophy in Hyderabad on Sunday. The filly beat Corte Madera by 7-1/2 lengths. Earlier, The Hindu had tipped the gelding Bhairava to win the feature race. Trainer L.V.R. Deshmukh and jockey P. Ajeeth Kumar both scored a treble on the day. N R I Crypto Power, owned by Ravinder Reddy Male, won the second division of the Sultan Pheroze Plate. The results came after a day of racing that saw several favourites and longshots succeed.
