# Bharat Dynamics Q1 profit jumps sixfold to Rs 119 crore

Bharat Dynamics Ltd, a defence public sector undertaking, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 118.79 crore for the June quarter, a sixfold jump from Rs 18.35 crore in the same period last year, according to NDTV Profit and Livemint. Revenue from operations more than doubled to Rs 572.24 crore, up 131% year-on-year. EBITDA turned positive at Rs 83.1 crore against a loss of Rs 45.4 crore a year ago. Sequentially, profit rose 5% from the March quarter. BDL shares have fallen 5.5% year-to-date.
