# Bihar Cabinet Approves PPP Operation of 16 Medical Colleges 2026-08-06T04:21:57+00:00 | India | Indian Opinion Desk The Bihar Cabinet approved running 16 medical colleges and hospitals under a public-private partnership model on August 5, 2026. It appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers as transaction adviser and sanctioned ₹8.27 crore. Four institutions at Pawapuri, Rahui, Madhepura and Purnea are operational. Twelve others are under construction across the state. The Cabinet also approved a Sports Science Centre in Rajgir and ₹6.12 crore for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
