# Jammu labourer killed by vehicle in deputy CM’s cavalcade

A man from Bihar was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the cavalcade of Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Saturday night, officials said. The victim, identified as Bharat Kapas, was crossing the road in Gangyal on the outskirts of Jammu when he was struck. He died on the way to hospital. Choudhary was not in the vehicle at the time, as the convoy was returning after dropping him at his residence. An FIR has been registered and an investigation is underway.
