The state now has six such schools, with plans to open one in each of the 24 districts. The schools offer free boarding, lodging and books for meritorious minority students from Class 9 to Class 12. Khan said 481 teaching and non-teaching posts have been approved for 13 schools, and 288 teachers will be recruited through BPSC's TRE 4.0. The department is also introducing online smart classes in madrasas through Maulana Mazharul Haque University and Bihar State Madrasa Education Board, with skill development programmes run alongside NSIC. Khan said 3,741 minority youth have received Rs 270 crore in loans under the Mukhya Mantri Udyami Yojana since 2023.
