The FIR was registered on Saturday at Karnamepur police station under Sections 351(2) and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Bhojpur SP Shri Raj said investigations have begun. The MLA claims he received a letter on July 8 at his ancestral home. The letter, purportedly from a Vikas Kumar, states that three inmates, Lambu Sharma, Kuber Mishra and Haresh Mishra, are plotting his murder with a hand grenade or time bomb.
