# BJP slams TVK-led government over hospital deaths, poor facilities

The Hindu reports that BJP state president Nainar Nagenthran on Friday criticised the TVK-led government's health department over deaths in state-run hospitals. He cited a man's death in Madurai, a 10-month-old child in Gobichettipalayam, and a 14-year-old boy in Theni district. Nagenthran accused Health Minister K.G. Arunraj of focusing on social media reels instead of improving hospital infrastructure. He urged ministers to ensure sufficient doctors and medicines for the poor.
