# Mumbai water cuts planned for Andheri, Santacruz, Bandra and BKC

The BMC will maintain the 2,400-mm Vaitarna water pipeline from 10 am on August 11 to 10 am on August 12, disrupting supply in parts of Mumbai. H-East ward will face complete shutdowns, while affected areas elsewhere will receive water at low pressure. The Free Press Journal places the low-pressure areas in K-East ward, while The Times of India identifies K-South ward. The affected locations include parts of Andheri East, Santacruz East, Khar East, Bandra East, the airport area and BKC. The BMC has asked residents to store water, use it sparingly, and boil and filter drinking water for the next few days.
