Deputy municipal commissioner Bhuvan Gupta said teams issued 557 notices across six assembly constituencies on Wednesday, with Narela accounting for 264. About 62,500 registered commercial properties have been classified by road width for inspection, and BMC will seek vacation of 144 High Court stay orders. The crackdown follows Supreme Court orders. Sensitive areas such as riverbanks, green belts and buffer zones will be priority. BMC also demolished an unauthorised structure in Ganesh Nagar.
