Bobby Deol-starrer 'Bandar', directed by Anurag Kashyap, will premiere on ZEE5 on August 28. The film, which had a theatrical release earlier, explores the impact of allegations and media scrutiny on a fading TV actor accused of rape by his ex-girlfriend. Indiatvnews.com reports the film's OTT release as an eventful follow-up to its theatrical run. Cinemaexpress.com notes that the film had a dismal box office performance, collecting only Rs 4.2 crore in India net, and received mixed reviews from critics. The outlet's review said the narrative loses focus amid multiple subplots.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

The coverage of Bandar's OTT release reveals contrasting framings. Indiatvnews.com leads with the theatrical run as 'eventful', a neutral positive gloss that avoids box office numbers. Cinemaexpress.com leads with 'dismal theatrical run' and reports the exact low collection of Rs 4.2 crore, foregrounding commercial failure. Both are straight reporting in stance, but the choice of what to highlight shapes reader perception. A careful reader should note that the film underperformed financially but is now finding a second life on streaming. The key date to watch is August 28.
