Over the past eight years, Paradip Fish Harbour has exported about 8.5 million kg of Borei alone, along with millions of kilograms of ribbon fish, sole, Paniakhia and Kantia. Seafood exporter Duryodhan Ray told Odishatv.in that Borei's oily variety is popular, and its scales are used in traditional soups.
