Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of India's Test series against Sri Lanka after failing to recover from knee swelling, adding to a growing injury list that includes Sai Sudharsan, Washington Sundar, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana. The spate of injuries has put the BCCI's Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru under scrutiny. Former India batter Subramaniam Badrinath said the COE only provides fitness information and does not make selection decisions. Commentator Harsha Bhogle agreed, saying it is too easy to blame the COE and urged players to take better care of their bodies.
