A case has been filed against BJP MP and actor Kangana Ranaut in an Agra court for calling student protesters at Jantar Mantar the 'gutter generation'. The Rajiv Gandhi Bar Association president, Ramashankar Sharma, filed the suit, accusing her of insulting students and their parents, news agency ANI reports. The court will hear the matter on August 21. Ranaut later clarified that her comments were directed only at protesters who called themselves 'cockroaches', not all youth. 'If someone claims to be a cockroach, then naturally they would live in a gutter,' she told ANI. She had earlier posted videos of the Gen Z protests were 'puke-inducing' and called them 'generation gutter'.
