# CBSE opens LOC submission for board exams 2027, deadline October 17

CBSE has started online submission of the List of Candidates (LOC) for Class 10 and 12 board exams 2027. Schools can submit details without late fee until October 17. A late window runs from October 22 to 26 with a fee of Rs 2,200. Only students whose names are submitted through LOC will be allowed to take the exams. The date sheet for the exams, scheduled for February 2027, has not yet been released. About 44 lakh students are eligible to appear. Examination fee for Indian students taking five subjects is Rs 1,600 per candidate. The fee for an additional subject is Rs 320. Practical exam fee for Indian Class 12 students is Rs 160 per subject.
