The delegation sought restoration of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), a raise in retirement age from 60 to 65, and uniform pay and allowances across all central government teachers irrespective of posting location. Teachers proposed 50% of principal vacancies be filled through departmental promotion, a new Head of Subject post with Rs 5,400 grade pay, and an increase in vice principal grade pay to Rs 6,600. They also asked for 14 casual, 30 earned, and 20 medical leaves per year, cashless medical facilities, and child care leave for male sole earners.
