Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal announced the appointments on X, stating they were made on the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium. The Calcutta appointments follow meetings held on May 11 and 12, while the Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh appointments were recommended on June 2. For the Madras High Court, five advocates were appointed as judges and ten others, three advocates and seven judicial officers, as additional judges.
