# Congress appoints TPCC media head, mulls four working presidents

The Congress has appointed Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy as head of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee’s media and publicity wing, Times of India reports. The AICC order, approved by the party president, came on August 6. Separately, The Hindu says the party is likely to appoint four TPCC working presidents by end of August to ensure caste and regional balance. Contenders include A.S. Sampath Kumar (SC), Porika Balaram Naik (ST), and Mohammed Azmathullah (minorities). The party also plans to fill the long-vacant post of TPCC Campaign Committee chairman and district chiefs for Rangareddy, Sangareddy and Ramagundam City.
