Hindustan Times reports the old cast iron pipe (CI) will be replaced with ductile iron (DI), and the alignment will shift from rear courtyards to the front side for easier inspection and repair. The project includes 1,033 metres of 100-mm DI K-7 pipeline and 449 metres of 150-mm DI K-7 pipeline, along with six DI sluice valves and other fittings.
