Installed 136 km offshore in waters 136 metres deep, the structure rises nearly as high as a 110-storey building. Business Today reports it is a tension-leg platform designed to withstand Category-17 typhoons and operate for 25 years. The platform combines wind, fuel-based power, and energy storage to supply reliable electricity to an offshore oilfield network.
