# Chiranjeevi’s Kaaka confirms Jan 13 release with new poster 2026-11-08T08:57:23+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 4 independent outlets Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Kaaka unveiled a new Diwali poster on 8 November, confirming its theatrical release on 13 January 2027 for the Sankranti festival. The poster shows Chiranjeevi holding a sickle with what appears to be blood on its blade, standing in a rain-soaked field in rugged attire. Times of India reports the actor plays a character named Kadiri Kalidas in the action drama, which is also being presented as a family entertainer. Tracktollywood says the poster shuts down rumours that Chiranjeevi’s long-delayed Vishwambhara could replace Kaaka in the Sankranti slot. Directed by Bobby Kolli and produced by Venkat K Narayana under KVN Productions, the film stars Anaswara Rajan, Nivetha Pethuraj and Anurag Kashyap. 123telugu reports Anaswara plays a character named Ammulu Paapa, while Kashyap plays the antagonist. Music is by Thaman. The first single is expected soon. ## Indian Opinion Analysis All four outlets report the same core facts: a Diwali poster confirming the 13 January 2027 release. The differences are in details added or omitted. Times of India alone notes blood on the sickle and names the character Kadiri Kalidas, while also recalling the earlier teaser. Tracktollywood frames the poster as a rebuttal to Vishwambhara rumours, a point the others do not mention. 123telugu and telugucinema.com stay with the basic announcement. The coverage is uniform straight reporting, no outlet adopts a critical or promotional stance. The next concrete item from the sources is the release of the first single, which the team says is coming soon. ## Coverage Coverage: 4 sources, 4 neutral - telugucinema.com (neutral report) Straight announcement of poster and release date - tracktollywood.com (neutral report) Focuses on shutting down Vishwambhara rumours - 123telugu.com (neutral report) Adds character name Ammulu Paapa and crew details - timesofindia.indiatimes.com (neutral report) Adds blood on sickle, character name Kadiri Kalidas, teaser recall This brief was synthesised by AI from the 4 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
