Corroboration: 2 independent outlets

m9.news reports that Vishwambhara, a Rs 100 crore fantasy film starring Chiranjeevi, has been indefinitely shelved due to production delays and poor post-production quality. The outlet says the film's teaser was poorly received, social media buzz is minimal, and key crew members like director Vashishta have moved on to other projects, including a script for Nandamuri Mokshagna. However, telugu360.com reports that an update on Vishwambhara is expected on Chiranjeevi's birthday (22 August), with a potential announcement on release plans. The outlet says VFX work caused a delay of over a year, and the film may release during Dasara. The team has been tight-lipped but promotions may begin soon. Both outlets agree UV Creations has invested heavily in the project, but they differ sharply on the current status: m9.news says shelved indefinitely, while telugu360.com says an announcement is imminent. Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for Mega158, slated for Sankranthi 2027.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

m9.news leads with the sensational claim of indefinite shelving, emphasising delays and a poorly received teaser, while omitting any upcoming update. telugu360.com counters with an imminent birthday announcement, framing the delay as routine VFX work. The middle ground: the film is stalled, but not abandoned. A formal update on 22 August will clarify if production will resume or the shelving story is correct. Watch for the announcement on Chiranjeevi's birthday.
