# Neeraj Chopra, Pullela Gopichand launch Indian School of Coaching Excellence

Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra and badminton coach Pullela Gopichand have jointly launched the Indian School of Coaching Excellence (ISCE) to develop world-class coaches in India. The programme will cover sports science, physical literacy, technology and career development, and will work with the Sports Authority of India, federations and academic institutions. Chopra said quality coaching was critical for the next generation of athletes. Gopichand said ISCE combines global best practices with Indian experience. The initiative is backed by Chopra’s Neeraj Chopra Foundation, Gopichand’s Badminton Gurukul and AISTS INDIA.
