# CID summons three sitting JPSC members in exam irregularities probe

The Crime Investigation Department (CID) has summoned all three sitting members of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) in connection with alleged irregularities in competitive exams for government recruitment. The summoned members are Dr Ajita Bhattacharya, Dr Anima Hansda, and Dr Jamal Ahmed. They have been asked to appear before the agency on August 10, 12, and 14, respectively. The investigation focuses on why TSR Data Processing Private Limited (TDPL), a Lucknow-based firm blacklisted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission in May 2025, was empanelled to conduct JPSC exams. So far 19 people have been arrested, including TDPL employees and JPSC staff. Former JPSC chairman L Khyiangte has been questioned four times. The CID is investigating whether serving members agreed to release PT exam results without their signatures.
