# CJP Instagram account restored after brief Independence Day takedown

The Cockroach Janta Party’s official Instagram account was briefly unavailable on Independence Day before being restored later on Saturday, the outfit said. Founder Abhijeet Dipke alleged that the removal was an attempt to silence the group, while Instagram has not publicly given a reason for the action, according to Times Now. The incident came as the CJP began its ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign from Santuk Pimpri village in Maharashtra’s Hingoli district. Hindustan Times reported that the group’s first school audit found poor water supply, missing drinking water, a lack of benches, dirty washrooms and broken windows. Dipke said the village panchayat promised to address the issues within a week.
