Congo's Ebola outbreak has reached 3,262 confirmed cases, nearing the 3,400 recorded during the country's worst outbreak from 2018-2020, the health ministry reported. At least 1,437 people have died, making it the fastest-spreading outbreak on record, concentrated in eastern Ituri province. A separate report from UNICEF, cited by IANS, put the case count at 4,053 with 1,850 deaths, though the discrepancy is unaccounted for.
