Chandigarh University has opened Phase 1 registration for the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2027 for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Eligible candidates can apply online at cucet.cuchd.in or offline by purchasing the form from admission offices or authorised centres for Rs 1,000. The exam will be conducted remotely with proctoring, allowing candidates to take it from home using a laptop or desktop computer with a camera. Candidates may also qualify for tuition fee waivers of up to 100% based on their entrance test performance and eligibility criteria. The university has not yet announced the last date to apply for CUCET 2027 Phase 1. Applicants are advised to check the official website regularly for updates on the registration deadline and examination schedule.

## Indian Opinion Analysis

The opening of CUCET 2027 registration gives students a clear pathway to apply early, but the absence of a published deadline creates uncertainty around planning. Candidates who depend on offline forms have a fixed cost of Rs 1,000, while online applicants must watch for the examination slot selection step. The 100% tuition fee waiver possibility is a strong incentive, but the criteria remain unspecified. The university will announce the registration deadline and exam schedule later on its website.
