# Cuddalore launches deworming drive for 9.21 lakh

Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar launched the National Deworming Day campaign in Cuddalore on Monday. Albendazole tablets will be distributed to 9.21 lakh children and women, but not to pregnant or lactating women. The drive covers 6,97,458 children aged 1 to 19 and 2,23,660 women aged 20 to 30. Tablets are being given through schools, colleges, anganwadi centres, health sub-centres, and primary health centres across the district.
