Lokesh Kanagaraj's acting debut 'DC' earned Rs 6.70 crore net in India on Saturday, a 52.3% jump over its opening day of Rs 4.40 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film was shown across 3,549 shows, with the Tamil version contributing Rs 4.55 crore and the Telugu version Rs 1.75 crore. Its India net collection now stands at Rs 11.10 crore. Worldwide gross is Rs 17.99 crore, with Rs 3 crore from overseas. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, the action film follows gangster Devadas (Kanagaraj) protecting a family from police brutality.
