# DC earns Rs 70.23 crore worldwide after eight days

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s DC collected Rs 2.86 crore net in India on Day 8, down 31.1% from Rs 4.15 crore on Day 7, The Times of India reports. Its India gross reached Rs 51.48 crore, while overseas earnings added Rs 75 lakh, taking the worldwide gross to Rs 70.23 crore. Kerala led state collections with Rs 1.08 crore, followed by Tamil Nadu at Rs 1 crore. The Tamil version contributed Rs 2.05 crore of the day’s India net, against Rs 80 lakh from Telugu and Rs 1 lakh from Hindi. The Times of India listed 2,062 shows and 32.1% occupancy, while TrackTollywood reported 2,390 tracked shows, down from 5,685 on Day 7. TrackTollywood estimated India earnings above Rs 50 crore and said the film remained on course for Rs 100 crore worldwide.
