# DC crosses Rs 50 crore gross in India on Day 8

Lokesh Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi-starrer DC earned Rs 2.86 crore net in India on its second Friday, taking its eight-day domestic net collection to Rs 44.76 crore, Koimoi reports. Its India gross stood at Rs 52.81 crore. Pinkvilla also reports that the film crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in India. The film lost more than 2,500 shows after the release of Suriya’s Vishwanath And Sons, but recorded a 31.08% fall from Day 7’s Rs 4.15 crore. DC has become the seventh-highest-grossing Tamil film of 2026 in India, surpassing LIK: Love Insurance Kompany’s Rs 43.07 crore net. NDTV Profit reports that its Rs 75 lakh overseas collection on Day 8 took the overseas total to Rs 18.75 crore and the worldwide gross to Rs 70.23 crore.
