# Telangana cops bust Delhi call centre, 22 held

The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau raided three fraudulent call centres in Delhi's Shiva Market and arrested 21 Telugu-speaking women telecallers and a male bank account holder. The three organisers, Lalith Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Anil, are absconding. Director Shikha Goel said the network had been running for about 1.5 years, targeting victims in Telangana by impersonating NBFC representatives and demanding fake processing fees. When victims refused, the callers threatened legal action and reputational damage. The bureau seized 23 mobile phones and two bank passbooks. The centres are linked to 22 cybercrime cases across Telangana. Many of the arrested women came from Korutla, Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar.
