Police said she was a third-year BA student at Aryabhatta College and had been suffering from depression since her mother died in 2021. A head constable on patrol found her body and alerted the station. Police recovered a handwritten suicide note in which the woman said she was ending her life of her own accord. No evidence of foul play was found at the scene.
