# Delhi High Court orders takedown of unauthorised Alakh Pandey content

The Delhi High Court has ordered the removal of online material that allegedly impersonates PhysicsWallah founder Alakh Pandey, uses his identity for unauthorised commercial gain, or contains obscene content. Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani also directed Google, X and Telegram to provide subscriber details linked to identified URLs and accounts. Pandey’s suit names the platforms and unidentified defendants. Pandey alleges misuse of his name, image, voice, teaching style and catchphrase through fake profiles, Telegram channels, stickers, GIFs, edited videos and coupon scams. Medianama reports that a YouTube video calling him “scamwala”, with about 50,000 views, was kept outside the interim order for separate consideration. The matter is listed for further hearing in November.
