DMRC has formed a separate company, Delhi Metro International Limited, to aggressively pursue overseas projects. Revenue from abroad will help fund refurbishment of Delhi's ageing metro network, parts of which are over two decades old, Kumar added. DMRC currently provides consultancy and operations support in Dhaka and has secured long-term O&M contracts for Mumbai and Chennai metros. It also supports systems in Patna, Noida, Gurugram and Jaipur.
