# Delhi Rain Floods Roads and Disrupts Traffic Across Several Areas

Rain caused waterlogging and major traffic delays across Delhi, including Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, ITO, Mathura Road, Lodhi Road, Outer Ring Road and parts of east Delhi. Some journeys reportedly stretched from 30 minutes to nearly two hours. Safdarjung recorded 15.6 mm and Lodhi Road 38.7 mm. Construction near the Modi Mill and Savitri flyovers, along with Kanwar processions, added to congestion. The Municipal Corporation reported three tree-felling cases and 10 waterlogging complaints. The IMD forecast more rain. Alert levels differed by report and timing: ABP News reported a yellow alert, while Hindustan Times later reported orange and, in some areas, red warnings. HT said Palam recorded 23.8 mm overnight and Delhi’s AQI was satisfactory at 80.
