# Delhi Swings from May Heat to August Rain: IMD

Delhi will see partly cloudy skies and light rain over the coming days, with maximum temperatures between 33°C and 35°C, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The minimum temperature is expected to be 24-26°C. This comes after a severe May heatwave when the capital recorded a minimum of 28.4°C and a forecast maximum of 44°C under a yellow alert, as per PTI quoting IMD. The air quality has also improved from 'poor' (AQI 210) in May to 'satisfactory' (AQI 92) in August, according to CPCB data.
