The Times of India reports that the accused, identified as Manjunath, allegedly waited near a basement staircase where CCTV cameras could not capture him clearly. On July 29 around 4 pm, Manjunath allegedly flashed at the woman and then tried to attack her with a sharp object resembling a needle, according to her complaint. She escaped and raised an alarm, but the accused fled before security could catch him.
