# Diljit Dosanjh warns fans against volunteer scam before Delhi concert 2026-10-22T09:17:56+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 2 independent outlets Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has warned fans against a scam ahead of his Delhi concert on 30 October at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. In an Instagram video on 22 October, he said his team had found social-media pages falsely recruiting volunteers for the event. He urged fans not to share personal data, noting that such pages collect and sell information. 'We are not asking anyone to volunteer,' he clarified. Dosanjh is performing in Delhi-NCR on 30 October as part of his Aura India Tour, with subsequent shows in Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Chandigarh. He previously completed a world tour in Europe and North America. The India leg follows his 2024 Dil-Luminati Tour, which Hindustan Times reports generated Rs 943 crore in revenue. Tickets for the upcoming shows are priced up to Rs 18,000. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Both Hindustan Times and The Hans India provide nearly identical straight-news coverage of Diljit Dosanjh’s scam warning, quoting the same Instagram statement and tour details. Neither outlet adds independent investigation or critical framing beyond the artist’s own remarks. Hindustan Times mentions his 2024 tour revenue of Rs 943 crore and a ticket price comparison with Arijit Singh, which The Hans India omits, but this is supplementary colour rather than a slant. The uniform coverage confirms the story is a routine artist-fan advisory without political or ideological divergence. The concrete takeaway is the Delhi concert on 30 October at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. ## Coverage Coverage: 2 sources, 2 neutral - hindustantimes.com (neutral report) Straight reporting of singer’s warning and tour schedule - thehansindia.com (neutral report) Straight reporting of singer’s warning and tour schedule This brief was synthesised by AI from the 2 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
