# Don’t Be Shy OTT premiere on Prime Video on September 25 2026-08-25T13:22:04+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 1 independent outlet Alia Bhatt has unveiled a new poster for Don't Be Shy, the young-adult rom-com produced by her and Shaheen Bhatt under Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film introduces four new faces: Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora, and Piyush Khati, with Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia, and Anju Alva Naik in supporting roles. Written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji, the story follows friendship, first love, heartbreak and growing up. Don't Be Shy will premiere worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on September 25, 2026, streaming in Hindi with English subtitles across India and over 240 countries. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Eternal Sunshine Productions, launched by the Bhatt sisters in 2023, aims to back fresh voices and debut talent rather than star-driven vehicles. Don't Be Shy is only the second film under the banner, after the 2024 release Jigra, which had a muted box-office run. The decision to take this film straight to OTT avoids theatrical risk and lets the newcomers reach a global Prime Video audience without a screen-count battle. Alia Bhatt's own acting slate remains heavy on theatrical releases: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War arrives in January 2027 and the Tumbbad sequel in December 2027. Whether Eternal Sunshine can build a consistent production pipeline will depend on how Don't Be Shy is received on streaming metrics. ## Coverage - timesnownews.com Straightforward announcement of poster, cast and release date with no editorialising.
