A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and two Personal Security Officers (PSOs) suffered minor injuries on Monday when a tyre of their bulletproof vehicle burst near Ziyarat Sharief Syed Hassan Mantaqi in Awantipora. Officials said the tyre burst while the vehicle was moving, and the heavy weight of the bulletproofing may have contributed. A senior officer told Greater Kashmir that all injuries were minor and none of the personnel was in danger. The three were given medical treatment.
