# Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘I’m Game’ postponed to September 3

Dulquer Salmaan's action thriller I'm Game will now release worldwide on September 3, moving from its earlier date of August 20. The makers announced the postponement on Thursday, saying the decision was made to give the film a wider theatrical release across markets. The film will simultaneously open in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath (RDX), the film stars Dulquer as Dan John, a gambler whose algorithm-based betting system unravels. The August 20 slot would have pitted it against Prithviraj's Khalifa, while Nivin Pauly's Bethlehem Kudumba Unit releases on August 21. Yash's Toxic hits screens on August 26. I'm Game marks Dulquer's return to a Malayalam lead role after the box-office failure of King of Kotha, The Hindu reports.
