# Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game to stream on JioHotstar from 6 November 2026-10-31T13:01:38+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 6 independent outlets Dulquer Salmaan's fantasy action drama 'I'm Game' will begin streaming on JioHotstar from 6 November in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Directed by Nahas Hidhayath and produced under Wayfarer Films, the film was released in theatres on 3 September. The story follows Dan John, a wealthy man with a gambling addiction who receives a hand transplant after a road accident and discovers the hand carries the consciousness of a deceased cricketer. The cast includes Antony Varghese, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Vinay Forrt and Samyuktha Vishwanathan. Accounts of the film's theatrical run differ: TrackTollywood reports a strong worldwide opening of over Rs 11 crore gross, while 123telugu.com and Cinema Express describe it as a box-office failure. Cinema Express adds that Salmaan publicly took responsibility, saying, 'If you want to blame someone, you can blame me.' Update, 31 October 2026: Cinema Express now reports the film was Dulquer Salmaan's first Malayalam release in nearly three years and that the actor publicly took responsibility for its underwhelming box-office run, saying, 'If you want to blame someone, you can blame me.' It adds that Salmaan's next Malayalam film is yet to be announced. ## Indian Opinion Analysis Most outlets offer straightforward OTT date announcements, but three frame the film's theatrical run differently. TrackTollywood leads with a strong opening figure of over Rs 11 crore gross worldwide, describing a 'strong start'. In contrast, 123telugu.com and Cinema Express call it a 'flop film' and a 'box-office failure' that 'failed to make an impact', while Cinema Express adds that Dulquer Salmaan publicly took responsibility for the underwhelming run. The Economic Times, Filmibeat and Pinkvilla avoid any performance judgement entirely. The balanced read is that the film opened well but did not sustain, a pattern the date-focused neutral reports do not contradict. The commercial performance remains unresolved between these accounts, the next observable point is the film's performance on JioHotstar from 6 November. ## Coverage Coverage: 6 sources, 5 neutral, 1 sensationalist - 123telugu.com (sensationalist) Labels film a box-office failure in its lead - economictimes.indiatimes.com (neutral report) Straight OTT date announcement, no performance comment - tracktollywood.com (neutral report) Leads with strong opening gross of over Rs 11 crore - filmibeat.com (neutral report) Neutral release-date report, no financial assessment - pinkvilla.com (neutral report) Focuses on plot summary and cast, avoids box office - cinemaexpress.com (neutral report) Reports box-office failure and Dulquer's public apology This brief was synthesised by AI from the 6 sources linked above, so one read covers every framing they carry.
