# E3 Trion launched in Bengaluru with 165-km claimed range

Bengaluru-based startup E3 Electric.AI has launched the E3 Trion, its first passenger electric scooter, in three variants priced at Rs 99,999, Rs 1,09,999 and Rs 1,19,999 ex-showroom Bengaluru. The C1x uses a fixed 3 kWh battery and claims an IDC range of 165 km. The C2 has the same battery capacity, a top speed of 82 kmph and a claimed 0-40 kmph time of six seconds in Sport mode. The base C1 has a removable battery for charging at home, work or public points. The scooter includes connected navigation, remote battery monitoring, predictive diagnostics, geo-fencing and SOS assistance through its software systems. Times Now reports that the battery warranty extends up to eight years or 1 lakh km, while noting that real-world range will be lower than the laboratory-tested IDC figure. Pre-bookings are open in Bengaluru ahead of a wider rollout.
