# Elon Musk’s SpaceX to train Grok AI on employee data

Elon Musk has told SpaceX employees that the company will train its Grok AI model on internal communications, staff data and workplace contributions, according to a Business Insider report. Speaking at a company town hall, Musk said the AI would 'inherit your thoughts and ideas and beliefs'. SpaceX did not specify privacy protocols for the data. Separately, SpaceX’s xAI and coding platform Cursor released the Grok Bot beta version. Described as an ‘AI teammate’, it can independently manage tasks across apps and websites, such as updating records and processing invoices. The bot is available on SuperGrok Heavy and Cursor plans. SpaceX is also reportedly finalising a $60 billion acquisition of Cursor.
