# Emraan Hashmi’s Gunmaaster G9 teaser out, film releases Nov 27 2026-08-25T08:11:38+00:00 | Entertainment | Indian Opinion Desk Corroboration: 3 independent outlets Emraan Hashmi has released the teaser for his upcoming action-romance Gunmaaster G9. The teaser, titled 'The World of G9 Begins', shows Hashmi as a man willing to risk death for the woman he loves, played by Genelia D'Souza. The film also stars Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh, and is directed by Aditya Datt. Himesh Reshammiya's track 'Afsana' features in the teaser. The Times of India reports the film is scheduled for worldwide release on November 27, 2026. Hindustan Times adds that the teaser will also play alongside Yash's Toxic in theatres, and notes a box office clash with Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari's Yeh Prem Mol Liya on the same day. M9.News claims some social media users are predicting the film could reach the Rs 500 crore club, a figure not yet confirmed. Hashmi's previous film Awarapan 2 has earned around Rs 139 crore net in India and Rs 196.55 crore worldwide, according to The Times of India. ## Indian Opinion Analysis The coverage is uniform straight reporting with no discernible ideological slant. The Times of India and Hindustan Times lead with concrete details, release date, cast, and box office clash. M9.News focuses on nostalgia and fan speculation, including an unverified Rs 500 crore prediction, fitting its sensationalist pattern. The key facts are consistent across sources: the teaser drop, the November 27 release, and the creative team. The only divergence is that Hindustan Times mentions the clash with Yeh Prem Mol Liya, while others omit it. The box office performance of Awarapan 2 provides context for Hashmi's current standing. The film's success will hinge on audience reception at its November 2026 release. ## Coverage Coverage: 3 sources, 2 neutral, 1 sensationalist - timesofindia.indiatimes.com (neutral report) Straight news reporting with release details, box office figures, and fan quotes - hindustantimes.com (neutral report) Straight news reporting with release details and box office clash - m9.news (sensationalist) Leads with nostalgia and unverified Rs 500 crore club speculation This story was synthesised by AI from the 3 sources linked above.
